Bulgarian Rose essential oil (called rose "otto") is known worldwide as the finest quality of rose essential oil on the earth. Please note that the extent of the healing process is individual to each person.
A rose blossom contains only about 0.02% essential oil. This means that it takes about 60,000 roses to produce just 1 ounce of oil, and ten thousand pounds of rose blossoms to produce 1 pound of oil. Because of this rare and precious yield, the oil is often produced with solvents, adulterated with geranium and other oils, or distilled at high temperatures to try and increase the volume produced; all of which lead to a less desirable, lower quality product.
Normally, all of the oil produced in Bulgaria is combined together to form a uniform national product that is then stamped with the Bulgarian seal. Our small distiller wanted to produce his own, organically grown oil. He has separated from the official Bulgarian rose production in order to create a product worthy of his own high standards for the healing profession. He has truly succeeded in doing that, as we are certain you will find this to be the finest real, pure Rose Otto available anywhere.
