Lemon tea tree essential oil has been used as a wash for dogs. It is a remarkable insect and flea repellant, and helps clear mange and other skin infections. It seems that it could also be an aromatic additive to human shampoos and rinses, for scalp infections, dandruff, and dry scalp issues.
Lemon tea tree is a good choice for diffusion to neutralize energetic and airborne pollution, inside the home or at work.
It makes a great substitute for tea tree, when the goal is to improve the appeal of the aroma for children, or others who dislike the medicinal smell of regular tea tree oil. It has many of the same properties as tea tree oil, with a fresh, lemony scent.
