Notes: This is a modern variety of cloned lavender. The population is genetically identical, unlike the Lavender Fine population. This clone has become one of the most popular lavenders for creating natural perfumes. It’s sweet aroma is smooth and soft, and very reliable from batch to batch. That said, it is missing the genetic and aromatic diversity of uncloned lavender populations.

Observations and Anecdotal Information
Lavender Maillette seems to have a special affinity for healing nerves. It regenerates damaged nerves, and can help restore nerve degeneration from disease.
It is also helpful for supporting tendon and ligament injuries, and connective tissue damage. Conditions such as scleroderma, MS, and myofascial/muscular degenerative diseases can really benefit from regular use of this oil applied topically.
Its very sweet aroma is both relaxing and revitalizing. Often it is enjoyed even by those who normally shy away from lavender. It is a lovely addition to diffusion blends, and appealing to sensitive individuals and children.
