MOROCCAN CHAMOMILE ESSENTIAL OIL
Size: 5 ml. violet glass bottle
Distillation: Steam distilled at low temperature
Botanical name: Ormenis multicaulis
Note: Not a true chamomile, but often confused with Roman or English Chamomile (Anthemis nobilis) and German Chamomile (Matricaria recutita). Ormenis multicaulis is also known as Tansy (not to be confused with Blue Tansy), and Wild Chamomile.
Wild Chamomile has a fresh and herbaceous top note. The middle note is sweet, with a rich and balsamic undertone, while the dry out note is sweet, dry, herbaceous and very tenacious.
In natural perfumery it would be a great choice to use for chypre, fougere, citrus colognes, herbaceous perfumes, amber bases, and floral-herbaceous creations.

Moroccan Chamomile essential oil is a fairly new addition to the world of aromatherapy, although it has been used in Morocco for generations. It is known for healing and regenerating skin, and has become a popular addition to skin cremes, natural make up, and all kinds of natural body products.
It is also known for its deeply calming properties, and can relieve stress and tension simply by inhaling the complex aroma of this oil. It is known for its ability to bring relief to asthma sufferers, and should be inhaled for that purpose.
It is also highly anti-allergic, and can reduce or eliminate allergic reactions through topical application or inhalation.
When inhaled, the first aromatic impression is that of a sweet balsamic, fruity, herbaceous bouquet. Within the next 20 minutes, the aroma becomes richer, more well-rounded and mellow as the heart notes are revealed.
