In natural perfumery, Cabreuva essential oil is used in a wide range of perfume formulations with its sweet, woody notes, making floral notes such as rose and lily of the valley, amber bases, precious wood notes, and oriental perfumes. It blends well with many oils, including angelica, benzoin, jasmine ruhs and absolute, pink lotus absolute, palo santo fruit, tuberose absolute.
