Opening the Doors to More Communication

Little did I know that when I opened the doorway to communicating with the crystals, it would trigger my ability to reach beyond the normal functions of how we communicate as humans.  When I first began my journey to the awareness of the Gifts that were within me, I had a mantra that “if there was a hell, we were living on it.” Up until this time, I never felt like I belonged on this earth, and would frequently joke that I had come from another star system.

Once I opened the door to receiving from the crystalline beings, it took my faith to another level of believing that I/we have the ability to communicate with all forms of life. With a desire to learn more, I continued to take classes, read books, and explore beyond my current knowledge. During this time I could not receive information fast enough! I was like a computer receiving, processing, and assimilating as much knowledge on spirituality as I possibly could.

Whenever I looked into the eyes of my teacher, the Medicine Woman, I could see and feel this amazing love and joy emanating from every cell of her body. I could feel that she was the key to finding out the ‘more’ my soul and body was currently aching for. What did she know that I could learn?  Even more importantly, how could I incorporate into my life that same feeling of love and joy I saw emanate from her every day?

For each individual, the journey is personal. We all have our own strengths and challenges in life.  At that time, my biggest challenge was to feel a connection to the earth.  I was not living with the earth, I was existing on the earth.  I did not want to be here.

As a result of my conversations and consultations with the Medicine Woman, I began to drink root juices and consume root vegetables. The roots not only assisted me with anchoring my soul into my body, they also helped me with creating a relationship with the earth. At that same time, I had learned from one of the many books I was reading that “Spirit will only take you as a serious as you take yourself”. It was then that I made a commitment to myself and Mother Earth to do ceremony every day by honoring all the directions, and by sharing my offerings of love to myself, Mother Earth, and to Father/Mother/God.

This was a huge turning point for me with creating a relationship with the earth. Within a year, I could feel the earth’s heartbeat, and I could see/feel/hear her communicating with me. If you listen, you will find that she speaks through the weather (wind, rain, snow, storms), the water (oceans, lakes, streams, and rivers), the plants and the trees, the birds, the insects, and all the animals who walk amongst us. And yes, she even speaks through the words and loving guidance of another…

When I first began this journey to learn more, I did not completely understand the meaning behind ‘we are all one’.  Now I have the ability to feel the truth in these words, beginning with the love of myself, love of the earth and all those who occupy her, and the love of Father/ Mother/God. Through love and gratitude, our abilities to communicate, receive, and listen to the messages coming from all walks of life become amplified.  I’m listening now.
